Bryanston Area Profile

Bryanston is situated north of Johannesburg, is an upmarket residential suburb situated between Sandton and Randburg near the busy highway, the concrete N1 Western pass freeway on the Northern boundary.  It was established in 1969 as a Sandton suburb. Properties in Bryanston is particularly large hence many have converted these premises into bigger units to house more people. The area is traditionally residential but is slowly becoming more commercial as the need arises for commerce.

A trip to Johannesburg's CBD from Bryanston will take about 30 minutes in average traffic, which is about 23 km. The Sandton CBD is a 5 -10 minutes drive, depending on where you are in Bryanston.

O. R. Tambo International Airport from Bryanston resident about half an hour, with about 35 km. Lanseria International Airport is slightly closer in terms of distance (approximately 25 km).
