Bartletts Area Profile
Bartlett is one of the many suburbs in Boksburg situated on the East Rand in the Johannesburg region. Originally laid out to serve the gold mining towns around it, Boksburg began in 1887. It now falls under the Ekhuruleni Metropolitan Municipality which surrounds much of the towns on the East Rand.
Bartlett is situated at the north end of Boksburg and comprises of both developed and undeveloped land which means that it is an ideal suburb in which to invest if you are looking for prime land to develop. Located not far from the city centre, Bartlett land is ripe for the picking as can be seen by the building types on the developed land. It is mainly made up of housing developments and complexes.
